Research progression of internal tooth resorption

Abstract: Internal resorption is a rare and insidious pathological process. The etiology and the associated key pathogenesis have not been completely understood. Up to date, most studies about internal resorption were case reports, the essence of it is still uncertain. In this paper, we reviewed internal resorption from etiology, molecular biological mechanism, diagnosis and clinical management.
