Abstract: Facial asymmetry is one of the most common diseases, which has a profound influence on people’s health, both physically and mentally. With the trend of pursuing beauty ascending, we feel the urgent need to get an insight into it. Due to the relatively dispersed researches earlier, this article summarizes the recent research progresses of the incidence rate of deformity, etiology, location, classification and treatment for the facial asmmetry.
