Abstract: Objective:To study the of MageD1 in oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) and HN6 cell lines and to explore its role in promoting cell apoptosis through the transfection of MageD1 in the oral squamous cell carcinoma cell line HN6. Methods:The of MageD1 in OSCC and HN6 cell lines are tested by Western blot and RT-PCR, and Cleaved-Casepase3 and Bax were tested by Western blot through the transfection of MageD1 in the cell line HN6, and study the growth of cell line HN6 transfected with MageD1 in nude mice. Results:The of MageD1 in OSCC and HN6 cell lines are both lower than normal tissues. MageD1, Cleaved-Casepase3 and Bax were upregulated in the Lv-Maged1-HN6 cells than the HN6 cells. The implantation experiment showed that tumors formed by the Lv-Maged1 cells are smaller than those by HN6 cells in nude mice. Conclusions:MageD1 is down-regulated in the OSCC and the over- of MageD1 promotes cell apoptosis.
