Research progress in related factors and signal pathways of traumatic heterotopic ossification

Abstract: Traumatic heterotopic ossification (THO) is characterized by the formation of bone tissue in soft tissue after trauma or operation, which is a common clinical phenomenon and complication. THO is the result of the joint efforts of many factors, and the progress of molecular mechanism in THO was systematically reviewed in this article.
